Chemistry teacher suspended along with her headmaster over an alleged “sex tape” and has fleed into hiding.
Bethan Bale, 36, is being investigated along with head teacher Graham Daniels, 50, after video footage appeared to show moans and panting coming from a school office.
Married Mrs Bale was linked to the case by angry parents at Bryn Tawe comprehensive school in Swansea.
She was not at the home she shares with husband Carl today and neighbours said the pair had “gone away”.
But the attractive brunette later answered her mobile phone when the allegations were put to her.
She said: “I have no comment to make,” before putting the phone down.
They recently judged a iPad reading challenge together at the 750-pupil Welsh medium school.
The pair are under investigation after the 30-second sex tape was posted onto Youtube by students.
Heini Gruffudd, Chair of Governors at Bryn Tawe school, said: “The school has received a complaint which did not name anyone involved. ”
Following this the governing body is holding an investigation, in co-operation with the local authority.
“The head teacher and another member of staff are currently suspended and Mr Simon Davies, currently Deputy Head Teacher at the school, will be managing the school for the time being.
“The school is running normally and we won’t be commenting further at this time.”
Mrs Bale lives in a £150,000 detached house at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Pontardawe, north of Swansea.
There was no one at the house today and the morning’s mail was still in her letter box.
A neighbour said: “Bethan is away and I don’t know when she will be back.”
The neighbour, who didn’t want to be named, added that her husband Carl was also not at home but he didn’t know if they were away together.
Married Mr Daniels and Mrs Bale are said to be “close” and pupils claim to have seen them at McDonald’s restaurant together.
